Frigel’s latest innovation? Process-synchronised cooling that uses 30% less energy and 90% less water–without legionella or ammonia.
Ecodry is a central closed-loop Adiabatic Cooling System, designed as a replacement of old cooling tower technology. Ecodry is installed outdoors in order to reject ambient heat.
The modular system is made up of close-circuit adiabatic fluid coolers with large copper coils, aluminum fin heat-exchangers, and inverter driven DC-brushless fans. These keep coolant temperature even lower than ambient temperature–using Frigel’s internationally patented adiabatic chamber. During high ambient-temperature conditions, it pre-cools the air before it reaches the finned heat exchangers.
Frigel will demonstrate their products in the largest NPE display of its kind, with 24 Frigel units operating in 10 booths at the upcoming show, “unprecedented for any process-cooling equipment company,” EPPM reports.
“NPE2018 represents the most exciting industry event in our 50-year history because we’ve taken things to a whole new level in every single aspect of what we do and the value we deliver to customers each and every day,” said Frigel North America Marketing Manager Al Fosco.
